TEKsystems has a customer that is looking for an intermediate Content Manager to work on a 5-month contract. The customer is looking for someone with 5 years of HTML, 2 years of Javascript, 3 years of CSS and experience working with Content Management Systems (Teamsite).

Job Responsibilities/Job Functions:

• Implements content updates on content management systems as requested by business stakeholders (Teamsite) Delivers content updates on time and with quality Reviews requests for completeness Collaborates with requestors to clarify requirementsInterfaces with requestors and quality assurance testers to validate changes
•  Develops and exhibits competency in web development skills, tools and techniques
•  Extends awareness of risks associated with content updates and potential impacts, incorporating risk planning and mitigation
•  Typically works on multiple, unrelated projects simultaneously.
•  Communicates with project managers, application developers subject matter experts, end users, and senior management.
•  Identifies and highlights problem areas, gaps or conflicts derived from information gathered.
•  Generates and proposes options for resolution.

Department supports marketing and an online channel team. Marketing will come up with new promotions and put in a request for the content to be updated. This person will use an agile system to review details, what needs to be updated, to have the full requirements of the story and update the content management systems using coding skills/html/java script. Work with stakeholder for approvals.


Job Qualifications:
-3 - 5 years of Web development experience.
-3 - 5 years experience using content management systems (Teamsite preferred) -Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Equivalent qualification -A background in JQuery and Graphic Design is a strong asset -Communicates effectively with meaningful and articulate verbal discussions.
