You will:
- Write client and server-side code for web-based applications, create robust high-volume production applications and develop prototypes quickly.
- Build platforms, systems and APIs using your strong background in distributed systems.
- Invent, analyze, and optimize new algorithms or data structures that are proven to be better than alternatives.
You need to have:
- Exceptional programming skills and the ability to learn fast.
- 4 years of relevant work experience in server-side technologies, with (at least one of) Java, ASP.NET, PHP, or Ruby on Rails.
- 4 years of relevant web application experience or skills using Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, RESTful Services, HTML and CSS3.
- Understanding and experience implementing MVC applications
- BA/BS degree or Masters degree (dropouts are welcomed)
It would be cool if you have:
- An understanding of, and practical experience with, Java server application development
- Angular.js, Backbone, Bootstrap, Knockout or other front-end frameworks
- Experience building Node.js and MongoDB stack applications
- Native Mobile app development experience for iPhone or Android
- Tech startup experience
- Knowledge of UI/UX
