Summary
       The primary responsibility of the position is the accountability and execution of pricing using dedicated systems and methodology while collaborating with multiple teams across Hi-Pro Feeds – Canada and the US. The successful applicant will have great organizational, analytical and customer service skills coupled with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities       

    Accountable to develop and execute on pricing strategy to enhance overall profitability including spot, contract, and pricelist pricing at Hi-Pro Feeds.
    Regular collaboration with sales, marketing, nutrition, formulation, trading teams, and senior management.
    Evaluate and prepare animal feed related pricing quotes and contracts.
    Continuously analyze pricing data to understand the impact pricing decision and strategies have on market share and profitability.
    Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to customer and market conditions.
    Maintenance and execution of pricing data and pricing program system.
    Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience       
    University degree, preferably in Business, Science, or Animal Science.
    Minimum of five years of related experience preferred.
    Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with multiple teams at one time.
    Demonstrates quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills.
    Understands the impact of market conditions and the impact of the competitive environment on pricing strategy.
    Strong computer skills to learn and manage new systems.
    Acts like an owner, is accountable, can act quickly on execution, is flexible and adaptable, and works well under pressure.
    Capable to work in an ambiguous environment with loosely defined project objectives.
    Ability to think outside of the box with the confidence to challenge the status quo.
