Get in at the ground level in one of Toronto's newest startups! Grid Ventures is about to launch a new company that is well funded, lead by an accomplished team and an amazing team of investors, and have high profile beta customers already lined up!

We're currently seeking ambitious and energetic developers skilled in modern stack technologies to build out our exciting new platform.

THE ROLE:
We have an immediate need for a full-stack developer who can hit the ground running and ramp-up quickly. You will be mainly responsible for back-end development on our platform but occasionally contribute to front-end development as needed. You'll be working closely with the Product Owner, the hands-on CTO, and the rest of the development team to build out the complete platform.

We are looking for someone with experience building platforms with large content stores. Much of the back-end will be built with node.js in front of mongoDB so ideally you have some experience in scaling mongoDB. If you don't have node.js experience that's ok, we understand that it's new, but you should be able to show that you can pick it up quickly. If you've done some Rails or Python development then we'll consider that a big plus.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERTISE:
- Must have experience working in a small company or startup
- Experience working in a proper agile environment
- Have done a significant amount of back-end development in either Python, Rails, or Node.js
- Production experience working with MongoDB
- You have a small passion for writing extremely performant and efficient code.
- Understand what it means to be Lean
