This position falls within our IT Advisory team, which helps our clients enhance the operating effectiveness of Operations functions by assisting them as they shift their emphasis from transaction-level control, processing and reporting to more value driven, decision support and analytics.

The individual(s) will work directly with clients to transform their business challenges leveraging technology solutions. The goal is to support our clients’ efforts to make their business units more effective and efficient and, where required, provide services in connection with the development and implementation of technology solutions. Our experience is also important to the analysis of specific business requirements for alignment with technology architecture, technology infrastructure design, and vendor selection decisions that support the line of business IT organizations of our clients.

As a member of the IT Advisory team, the Manager(s) or Senior Manager(s) combines deep, domain experience in two or more of the five service areas, with compelling, proven client, people, engagement delivery and business development skills.

Responsibilities:
Candidates must possess Chief Information Officer advisory consulting capability which includes: IT strategy and roadmap, IT operating model, architecture blueprint design, IT and Data governance as well as Master Data capability.

Lend specific subject matter knowledge to the design and integration phase of each project, helping to give specificity to the appropriate architecture, data model, and system design and interfacing requirements.
Advise clients on a variety of business process issues that help identify, assess, manage and measure the organization’s capabilities. Use business process, organizational and technology capabilities.
* Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management. Collaborate to plan engagement objectives and strategy that addresses performance improvement and risk. Manage expectations of service delivery. Stay informed of business/economic developments and their impact to the client.
* Generate as well as support new business opportunities. Develop long-term client relationships and networks.
* Understand Ernst & Young and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Collaborate closely with colleagues from all areas of the Advisory Services practice, to provide seamless, client-centric services and delivery.
* Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and client insight. Quickly assimilate new knowledge. Keep up to date with current developments and trends in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
* Deliver quality services. Value and model excellent client service by establishing goals and implementation plans to achieve high-quality deliverables within expected timeframes and on budget.
* Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.

To qualify, candidates must have:
* a minimum of five years’ client-side IT advisory experience, with a proven track record in delivering professional services in two or more of the following areas: IT Strategy; IT Sourcing; Enterprise Architecture; IT Functional Effectiveness; and IT Program Advisory
* a demonstrable track record as a trusted IT Advisor to Fortune 500 and comparable organizations’ senior IT and business personnel, at C- and senior management levels
* experience in delivering engagements that cover the full life cycle of assessment, design and implementation support
* a proven track record in supporting all stages of the business development cycle for major ($million) IT Advisory pursuits, with significant client interaction at all stages
* demonstrable track record in leading and closing successful IT Advisory pursuits
* experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members
* a passion for coaching and mentoring
* experience in developing deep client relationships
* experience in developing deep, collaborative relationships with colleagues in multiple practice areas, in a professional services environment
* exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation (including workshop) skills
* advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
* an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment (and know when to lead and when to follow)
* a high level of motivation, strong work ethic and self-starting attitude
* an ability to think outside of the box, and thrive on new challenges
* enthusiasm and ambition, to be instrumental to the further success of a growing practice area
* a willingness to travel on short notice to meet client needs; travel is estimated up to 25%
* a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree
* TOGAF, ITIL, PRINCE2, MSP, MoP, or PMP certifications preferred
