Position Overview:
As the IT Application Support Analyst based out of our district office in Lethbridge, AB, you will provide help desk support to the business, primarily in the area of IT and systems support, but also on special projects, as needed. You will be the primary escalation contact with end users and resolve first level issues in a timely manner.
Principal Accountabilities:
20% - IT Coordinator
Facilitate/problem solve employee help desk tickets with Cargill Help Desk
Resolve localized IT issues (set up printers / managing settings)
District purchaser for all hardware/software as required
Work with global IT for hardware reimaging/redeployment of assets
20% - District Infrastructure Contact
Manage and maintain local network hardware and computer assets
Communicate with the district employees as required by Cargill Help Desk
Work with Cargill global IT for any network issues or problems
20% - SAP Master Data Coordinator
Manage and maintain all aspects of the Master Data in SAP
Work with Business Intelligence SAP for reporting as required
20% - Special Projects as required
Office space project, implementation and/or integration of new customers or business requirements, etc.
10% - Information Protection Coordinator
Manage all requirements for Cargill Technology & Governance (T&G) Risk and Controls at the District level
Communicate to District employees as directed by T&G
5% - Employee Profile and Administration
Set up / request new hire network ID's
Request all required programs and access for employees
5% - Expert in complete Microsoft packages
Trouble shoot employee issues with Microsoft programs
Use expertise with Microsoft Excel to build and maintain spread sheets and Microsoft Access for data base maintenance as required
Skills:
Required:
Completion of technical College degree/diploma of related field OR 2 years of equivalent job experience as IT Help desk in a large corporate environment
Working knowledge of SAP
Proven excellent communication and problem resolution skills
Demonstrated patience, diplomacy, and the ability to work with all types of personalities
Proven ability to work independently and self-directed
Ability to navigate complex organizational structure and find solutions within a remote global team
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada on a non-temporary basis
