Cargill Grain and Oilseeds Supply Chain's 4,500 tonne per day canola processing plant in Clavet, SK is the largest softseed plant in North America. Saskatchewan accounts for 45 percent of Canadian canola production. The processing facility produces canola oil and specialty canola oils as well as canola meal for the domestic North American and world markets. Canola oil is a healthy vegetable oil used in salad oil, frying and processed food applications. Canola meal is a high protein feed product used by the livestock industry.
Cargill Grain and Oilseeds Supply Chain North America (GOSCNA) is looking for a Project Administrator to assist with various administrative tasks required during our new construction project in Clavet, SK. The main responsibilities of this role is to provide administrative support to the project through document control, vendor administration, general office duties and other miscelleanous duties. This project is expected to be complete in approximately 1 year, as such, this is a 1 year term position.
Principal Accountabilities:
45% - Document Control Organize and archive project documentation Work with the operations team to develop a seamless transfer of information between projects and operations Identify and implement an engineering documents management system, including engineering approval procedures and revision control Maintain electronic drawing database, engineering drawing numbering and the physical and electronic files of critical project documents (i.e. engineering drawings, equipment vendor documents, procedures) Responsible for electronic and hard copy receipt, recording, tracking, reporting and disposition of project documents in a timely manner to ensure all project documents are up to date Ensure latest document revisions are managed, archiving obsolete documents Report late documents to project manager, lead engineers and/or purchasers as required Create end-of-project manuals: compile, check for accuracy, format, etc.
30% - General Office Duties Ensure office is maintained in an organized manner Organize scanning and photocopying needs Responsible for attending daily and weekly meetings, and writing/communicating formal notes Maintain security and phone system in the office Organize office events, special meetings, etc. Track safety statistics, and safety action items Develop or assist in maintaining spreadsheets
20% - Vendor Administration Processing and payment of vendor invoices according to defined practices and with appropriate authorization Maintain vendor accounts Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving, verifying for accuracy and entering into accounts payable system Purchase order writing Organizing packing slips Providing other assistance to the accounting clerk as required
5% - Miscellaneous Oversee office cleaning Other duties as required by the Project Managers
