Your demonstrated strengths in technical selling, division management, and sales forecasting are an excellent fit for our Client’s opportunity.
For maximum success in this role you must have experience leading a team of effective sales professionals. Your desire to mentor the progression of those on your team will drive the Company into new territories and markets. You must have a keen interest in creating and presenting new ideas to enhance the development of the Territory Managers and overall sales success of the division.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, you will:
Plan, develop and execute all business goals for the department on an annual basis
Effectively support, train, mentor, and coach all Territory Managers within the Agriculture Division
Maintain OEM and International business relationships
Be an example of effective, solution-based selling to subordinates
Develop and maintain relationships with R&D to help develop new products
Maximize all sales and marketing opportunities to increase Company market share
Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads through the required channels
Through effective communication and the creation of lasting relationships, the Sales and Marketing Director will enhance the overall success of our Client's organization.
Our client has identified the following would contribute to your success in this position:
5-10 years of experience in sales in the Agriculture industry; specifically with regard to air seeding, planting, hydraulics, and shortline farm equipment.
2-5 years of experience overseeing a team of Sales Professionals.
OEM / international distributing marketing experience
Extensive experience in all aspects of Dealer Relationship Management.
Confidence with agronomic, soil science, and precision farming applications
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
