Uncertainty is one of the few certainties in agriculture, and it’s our mission to help farmers proactively manage uncertainty by providing high quality and innovative agricultural risk management products and services. The goal of the Business Risk Management Branch (BRMB) is to help provide financial stability in the face of weather hazards, natural disasters, diseases, pests and market declines – all with an eye to decreasing the need for ad hoc government assistance.

You will provide scientific and technical expertise and leadership to all aspects of claims and adjusting functions for Production Insurance – a province-wide program covering 40+ crops in all agricultural areas of the province. A skilled project manager with sound judgment, you lead unique projects that create scientifically valid adjusting and yield estimation techniques based on comprehensive agronomic knowledge of crops and the factors that affect yield and quality.
