This position is accountable to the Operations Supervisor for the safe, efficient and quality performance of various operational duties as assigned.
Performs various tasks as assigned to achieve a safe, efficient and quality operation.
Assists in the operation of assigned grain receiving/shipping/processing equipment to achieve a safe, efficient operation that meets or exceeds planned quality and production results.
Ensures operational integrity of grain receiving/shipping/processing equipment by identifying, reporting and following up any maintenance requirements or safety concerns with the Operations Supervisor.
Maintains housekeeping standards to meet established requirements.
Understands and is aware of Key Performance Indicators used to track results.
Understands and accountable to adhere to all Viterra safety policies/procedures.
Understands and adheres to facility operating procedures , ISO and HACCP Standards and Protocols.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Grade XII or equivalent.
Must have an aptitude for learning; ability to work in confined spaces and be comfortable working at heights.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Computer skills would be an asset.
First Aid and CPR would be an asset .
