POSITION SUMMARY:   
Leads the CRM functions and marketing processes in support of the Commercial Units, Crop Teams, Product Management, and Customer Marketing, sharing best practices globally.

CRM Strategy & Leadership:
Leads the Customer Relationship Management team ensuringappropriate people, processes and technology are established to support the commercial go-to-market strategy

Program Management:
Provides leadership and strategic direction to the Program Management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Accountable for the development, articulation and implementation of Syngenta CRM strategy that will enable and support revenue and profitable growth for Syngenta and its customers within the Canadian Territory
    Accountable for the development, articulation and implementation of the marketing processes, including the commercial campaign cycle, that will enable and support a customer focused campaign
    Accountable for all required documentation, process flows and testing of key controls in the execution and management of commercial offers and programs
    Works with commercial leadership to define agreed metrics and KPIs which gauge customer(s) performance and evaluation of commercial marketing and sales strategies, in order to provide effective information insight support across commercial teams
    Determine the manner in which customer data will be applied or used to develop differentiated CRM strategies for marketing, selling, and servicing Syngenta customers in support of Syngenta commercial strategies/tactics
    Sponsor (with other commercial leaders) transformational change and enabling projects which advance Syngenta overall strategic CRM capabilities

*Preferred location for this position:
    Calgary, Alberta or Guelph, Ontario.

QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelor degree in Agriculture or Business
    Minimum 10 years experience in the agriculture and/or CRM industry with marketing and sales experience
    Project and personnel management experience
    Marketing background
    Experience in vendor management (selecting and managing vendor relationships, vendor communications, contracts, etc.)
    Clear and effective decision-making, with an emphasis on a data-driven approach
    Creative and able to build, motivate, and manage high performing organizations
    Management ability, especially related to managing diverse talent group
    Understanding and experience in leading sales and marketing strategy
    Setting priorities among requests from other functions; can have candid conversations with peers regarding allocation decisions
    Business-orientation – focused on effectively managing resources to generate the highest return for the business
    Strong communications skills (both verbal and written); ability to interface with senior leadership
    Strong grasp of financial metrics and analysis
    Strategic thinking
    Ability to manage several projects and responsibilities simultaneously
    Ability to manage sensitive/confidential information
    Ability to work in team environment
    Build rapport within CRM Team and across functions
    Strong understanding and utilization of CRM methodologies
    Knowledge of salesforce.com CRM toolset, would be considered an asset
