The Company has a leading 70% market share of industrial alcohol and is also the largest ethanol producer in Canada with an export business in grain neutral spirits. The company also manufactures and sells co-products of the alcohol production process, including DDGs, WDGs, corn oil, and Co2. Position Overview    The Logistics/Administrative Assistant is an extremely busy position. This person will be responsible to answer all incoming phone calls to the Corn Purchasing Department. The assistant is in constant contact with the corn procurement team, suppliers, producers and trucking companies. There is rarely as quiet moment and the ability to multi task is an absolute must. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, have strong knowledge and experience with excel, have an excellent and professional phone manner and hold the ability work calmly under pressure.

Key Responsibilities;
    Answer and transfer all incoming phone calls
    Run and update daily/weekly reports for procurement team
    Track and apply incoming product to supplier contracts
    Running weekly settlements for all suppliers
    Populate and manage the logistics program for 3 of our production plants
    Manage the DDGs contracts and logistics for 1 production plant
    Invoicing daily for outgoing DDGs through Navision Accounting system
    Manage and maintain product contracts in Grain Accounting system
    Manage and maintain all supplier files

Required Skills/Qualifications;
    Ability to use Word, Excel, Powerpoint and other tools as required
    Ability to learn aspects of 2 of GreenField’s core systems: GrainSmart and Navision
    Excellent and professional customer service skills are extremely important and will be expected
    Strong ability to work under pressure with accuracy and meet deadlines
    Strong organizational skills
    Must be a team player and willing to work in a shared fast paced environment
    Must also be independent and able to manage the office alone when team members are travelling or working remotely

Education and Experience;
    University or College degree
    Past experience in a business office environment
    Knowledge of the agricultural industry would be an asset
