Our company has developed a new program that is recreating medical surveys in an interactive and exciting way. Our focus from the start has always been patient experience and design.
We are growing rapidly and we are looking to build out our talented development team to break new ground in healthcare technology. The core function of this position is working with our Chief Technical Officer in the development and maintenance of Shift Health’s flagship product: TickiT.
Key Responsibilities:
development and testing of a JavaScript/HTML5-based mobile application
development and testing of a Ruby on Rails server application
Qualifications:
Experience developing Ruby on Rails applications and writing automated tests (RSpec, Capybara, etc)
Experience developing front-end javascript (using frameworks such as jQuery mobile, Angular, Backbone, etc) with JSON-based APIs for communication between application and server
Capable of faithfully implementing front-end designs and extending existing designs
Capable of managing a relatively large codebase with multiple deployments via git
Works well within a small team, and is self-motivated to succeed
Experience managing deployments of Ruby on Rails applications and associated server software
