BASF Agricultural Specialties Ltd., a leader in the global markets of chemical manufacturing and distribution has an immediate opportunity for a contributing team player in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for a Production Operator Join BASF Agricultural Specialties Ltd. as a part of our Operations team. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Operator will perform Quality Control procedures for raw materials, intermediate and finished products. Your assignments will include, but not be limited to the following: Production:Operating PLC, weigh scales, mixers, screeners and moisture meters.

Operating Form Fill Seal machines, programming and weight checker

Operating Grinding Mill, 1,000K BTU driver, sieve analysis and bulk bag un-loader.

Operating extruder, spherenizer and fluid bed drier.

Operating forklift both seated and standing up.

Following applicable Standard Operational Procedures for a given production area.

Performing all required quality control tests.

Complying with all safety regulations.

Quality & Cleanliness:Ensuring all goods produced in a given area meet quality standards.

Ensure production records are filled out completely and correctly on a daily basis.

Ensure overall cleanliness and appearance is maintained on a daily basis.

Following the correct shutdown and clean-up procedure for each work areas after end of each shift.

Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent.

Mechanically inclined or experience in operating production equipment an asset.

Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50lbs.
