Job Description: 
As the Crop Production Sales Specialist you will contact assigned dealers and prospects to sell Crop Production products within a designated geographic region.

Responsibilities include:


    Focuses on territory sales targets and market share for Crop Production, new business development, and troubleshooting on problems or key markets.
    Actively calls on dealers to review monthly sales plans and market share objectives for Crop Production products
    Actively calls on end users to drive retail sales
    Meets monthly, quarterly and annual market share and unit objectives by effective interaction with the territory sales team (including Territory Sales Managers, Dealers, CNH Capital and Service), and direct customer and prospect contact
    Manages dealer development and monitors dealer performance in Crop Production products
    Identifies issues, concerns, trends and competitive information from the field to Sales Directors, marketing staff, and Crop Production business leads
    Identifies market changes, key competitor strategies, industry trends, sudden shifts, market gain or loss to capitalize on identified opportunities
    Serve as the regional/territory product expert, including sales/marketing material generation and product performance input to product teams
    Manages dealer inventory to meet retail demand
    Ensures accuracy of sales forecasts resulting in appropriate plant production schedules for Crop Production products.
    Reports to Regional Sales team and Crop Production business leads as to issues, opportunities, trends, and results.

Preferred Qualifications:
  •     Previous industry experience in heavy equipment industry or similar, sold through a dealer network
  •     Understanding of product financing
  •     Knowledge of sales system reporting and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  •     Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  •     Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  •     Minimum 4 years comprehensive experience in sales and marketing. Preferred direct experience with dealers and dealer operations
  •     Must be fluent in both French and English
