Position Purpose: 
Forage Genetics International, a Land OLakes company, is the world's larger developer, seed producer and marketer of top-quality alfalfa varieties. This position will support exciting growth and product launches in Canada.
Position provides launch and trait marketing support in Eastern Canada to both marketing partners and grower customers. Also provide trait stewardship supervision and incident response.
Plan and implement trait/variety benefits studies with contract research organizations.
This will be a remote-based position, and will cover the territory of Eastern Canada (Ontario-East). Travel requirement of 25-35%.
 
Qualifications:
Experience-Education (Required):B.S. Degree in Agriculture. Minimum of 5 years related work experience in an agronomy, marketing and/or product development capacity.

Competencies-Skills (Required):
Proven commercial agronomy experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills; broad knowledge of production agriculture and the seed industry; ability to cultivate and grow business relationships.

Experience-Education (Preferred):Alfalfa experience strongly preferred. French language business-level proficiency strongly preferred.
