Monsanto Canada is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Sales Team as a Strategic Account Coordinator.
Monsanto Canada ??s team of Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) is accountable for earning the supplier of choice position with our Strategic Accounts; the Strategic Account Coordinator is a key support resource for this team.
Specific areas of support the Strategic Account Coordinator provides include:
Assisting the SAMs in documenting and executing the annual business plans with our Strategic Accounts, including coordination of materials for sales campaigns and co-marketing activities.
Supporting the SAMs with analysis and reporting.
Assisting the SAMs in the preparation of presentations and other account communication.
Working with the SAMs and the appropriate Administrative Assistant to execute customer events.
The Strategic Account Coordinator will also support the Sales Operation Manager by:
Assisting in the documenting and tracking of supply planning and allocation.
Assisting on sales team process improvement projects.
The Strategic Account Coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring the activities of the Strategic Account Managers align with the plans and standards outlined by the marketing team.
The Strategic Account Coordinator will support the broader sales management team by maintaining a central sales team calendar.
Scope of the Job.
This role will support the three current Strategic Account Manager positions
Additional key interfaces are:
The sales management team ( Four Area Sales Managers, Sales Operations Manager, National Sales Lead).
The two sales team Administrative Assistants.
The DEKALB and Crop Protection Marketing Managers and Associates
The Marketing Services team
Business travel will be required for the successful candidate
Qualifications:
Core Business/Functional Skills and Education.
Bachelors Degree in Business, Agriculture, Horticulture or similar required.
Communications and/or sales experience preferred.
Computer skills: Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook (e-mail & calendar).
Communications skills: Strong verbal and professional phone skills with emphasis on being service and relationship oriented; Listening and probing skills to ensure accurate information is obtained.
Organization skills - ability to: Prioritize and handle multiple tasks; Follow-up on requests in a timely manner; Organize reference and other information in order to efficiently and effectively communicate.
