Job
The Site Project Engineer (Mechanical) will be working on site in Montreal and will be responsible for the technical and administrative success of the construction phase of assigned projects. This will include administering the construction contract, reviewing the site work, completing all appropriate documentation and reporting accurately and on time.
The incumbent will interface regularly with clients to coordinate and communicate information related to construction on a timely basis, including all necessary clarifications, interpretations, and corrections of mechanical plans and specifications. The incumbent will liaise with his Engineering Team at corporate head office in Toronto .
Requirements
• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Licensed Engineer recognized by OIQ is preferable (ing. or ing. Jr.)
• Bilingual French/English
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in Building Services and Construction in Québec
• Experience in institutional construction is preferable
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
• Demonstrates accurate and reliable documentation and reporting capability
• Computer literate – REVIT capability is preferable
• Demonstrates strong time management skills
