Fanastic opportunity for a Surface Project engineer to work with a mining company that has developed an excellent reputation in the industry.
Job
• Preparing short, medium and long-term project plans in alignment with business objectives;

• Developing and implementing technical standards, specifications and quality assurance systems to optimize integrity of processes, in accordance with objectives;

• Planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within
budget;

• Defining the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle;

• Acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party
contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan; and

• Directing, coordinating and implementing all aspects of planned projects in accordance with the project / department requirements.
Requirements

• Professional Engineer with at least five (5) years of relevant experience, with direct
work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of project
development and execution.

• Experience in mining operations and the intricacies that accompany an underground
mining operation
