Career Opportunity: Corporate Service Manager – Agriculture, Saskatoon   
We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Service Manager reporting to the General Manager – Agriculture Group. The key focus of this position will be to manage and provide support to all of the dealership service operations across all Cervus Equipment – Saskatchewan Agricultural Branches.   
Accountabilities:
  •     Develop synergies between Parts & Service Departments to ensure that they are working cohesively as one, in support of achieving overall Branch goals
  •     Assist Branch Managers in creating annual Service Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives
  •     Assist in locating, hiring and developing/mentoring Service Managers at all Cervus Ag – SK locations
  •     Develop and retain key talent by maintaining a current Aftermarket Internal Depth Chart, Recruiting and Hiring Plans and work with the Corporate Training Manager to ensure individual training & development plans are in place
  •     Complete a workforce plan to determine future hiring
  •     Assist Branch Managers in developing Branch Parts & Service Department marketing plans and monitor monthly to ensure sustained revenue growth and achievement of departmental goals
  •     Maintain a current wage & bonus strategy across departments to ensure that CERVUS AG – SK aftermarket departments remain competitive in the marketplace
  •     Work with the Department Managers to ensure that employee reviews are done on a timely basis, for all service department employees
  •     Identify and develops new customer and business opportunities to achieve department growth

  • The ideal candidate will have:
  •     Minimum 3 years’ experience in Agricultural Parts or Service Department operations
  •     Strong coaching and employee development skills
  •     Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  •     Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Parts & Service Department operations
  •     General Mechanical Aptitude
  •     Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products
  •     Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
  •     Excellent negotiation/conflict resolution skills
  •     Understanding of current agricultural practices and the urgency of service repairs in season
  •     An ‘Ownership Mindset’ by displaying a passion for the success of our customers through developing relationships to efficiently satisfy their needs
