As part of the Global 7000/8000 team Product Development Team and reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible to manage the day to day activities of a team of Project Engineers.
In your role, you will:
- Harmonize schedule and the adherence
- Develop and follow-up actions plan
- Develop and follow-up risks mitigation plan
- Communicate and coordinate with the work package project management integration team, supplier functions leaders and the teams in Montreal and Toronto.
- Prepare the periodical reviews while following the BES development phases,with your colleagues .
- Be responsible the employee performance management program (PMP) completion and employee communications. .
- Act as a facilitator and mentor in moving the work package team forward through effective project management and leadership of the day to day activities and coordination of product development tasks.
- This position is based in Montreal.
Qualifications:
As our ideal candidate,
- You have a Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent. PMI certification is an asset
- You have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience with multidisciplinary team in the Aerospace industry with at least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- You have experience in project management as well as knowledge of aircraft development cycle.
- You are required to be an organized person with leadership skills and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
- You have logical and flexible mindsets, shows initiatives and demonstrate overview/detailed approaches.
- You are bilingual.
- You have strong oral and communication skills.
- You have superior skills in MS Office including MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel
- Some activities will require work outside of normal business hours and may also require some related travel.
