This term position will provide event coordination and administrative support to the Learning & Development function within the Human Resources department.
The incumbent will be responsible for all event coordination activities including making travel, food and beverage arrangements, venue sourcing and booking, room set ups, etc.
Consistent and clear communication with business units on training offerings, registrants and course details is also a significant part of this role’s accountabilities.
Other responsibilities will include preparing materials for training programs and meetings, processing vendor invoices, maintaining training records, and general administrative tasks that support the Learning and Development team.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of both administrative and event coordination experience within a professional environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) is required.
Superior attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are important.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously are also essential to be successful in this role.
