Production Worker

Join BASF Agricultural Specialties Ltd. as a part of our Operations team. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Worker will perform Quality Control procedures for raw materials, intermediate and finished products. Your assignments will include, but not be limited to the following:

Production:
Operating Bag Wicket machine, Bag Heat Sealer, Box Sealer, Pallet Wrapper and Ink Jet Labeler.Assisting the Operator with the general set up of Form Fill Seal machines, Box Strapper and sticker guns.Operating Flow Hoods, Patristic Pumps, Sticker Stamp Machine, General Fermentation Vessel and Canula.Following applicable Standard Operational Procedures for a given production area.Complying with all safety regulations.

Quality & Cleanliness:
Ensuring quality standards of all goods produced are met and production records are correctly filled out on a daily basis.Ensuring maintenance of overall plant cleanliness and appearance on a daily basis.Following the correct shutdown and clean-up procedure for each work area at the end of each shift.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent.Production line experience an asset.Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50lbs.
