Reporting directly to the Business Manager, AgResource, you will be accountable for maintaining and enhancing the Crop Protection Product and Seed business with an independent dealer network. In addition, you will have full profit and loss responsibility for the assigned territory.
Principle Accountabilities:
Sales of Crop Protection Products and Seed
Develop Customer Solutions and create Distinctive Value
Prepare and perform annual budget for sales and contribution
Forecast customer product requirements
Support Suppliers with their sales initiatives
Assist Dealers to manage a successful business
Development of strategy, programs and offers to achieve budgeted objectives
Maintain liaison with suppliers to exchange information and gain support
Evaluate marketplace for price and service discovery
Reconcile accounts for price, rebates and collection of accounts
Perform credit management
Skills Required:

Decision making skills including opportunity feasibility assessment
Problem solving ability to evaluate options
Organizational skills to manage the various external and internal communications
Software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Understand implications of supplier programs and purchasing terms
Minimum of 5 years significant experience with Crop Protection Products and Seed with an established knowledge of the current marketplace
Agriculture or Business Degree
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada on a non-temporary basis
