Advertisement Monsanto Canada is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the marketing team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the execution of marketing communications and promotions plans.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Associate primarily for the Crop Protection business. 
  • Execute  marketing communications and promotions plan.
  • Manage marketing tactics communication with Monsanto sales team.
  • Provide input and ideas around the Marketing Strategy.
  • Day to day contact with marketing agency.

Scope of the Job:

Direct contact with Monsanto Territory Managers, Area Sales Managers, Account Managers, Customer Analytics Manager and Canadian Marketing Lead.  Also need to liaise with Marketing Team members to ensure alignment on national trait brand issues.

Key contact with the brand advertising agency and media planner.

Manages vendor relationships with promotional vendors for:  banners, merchandise, signage, decals, etc.

Effectively works with legal counsel for approval on all marketing/communication materials prior to external distribution

Partners with Technology Development team to ensure marketing/communication materials have proper technical data support.

Lead development and execution of  market research.

Accountable for ensuring Administrative Assistant and Marketing Services group processes invoices in a timely fashion and expenses are accurately tracked.

Partner with other Marketing Associates to coordinate communications and jointly manage co-branded events.

Provide recommendations on the brand web presence.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture or related field
  • Minimum 2 years marketing communications or field sales experience required
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self starter
  • Great communication and listening skills
  • Skilled at developing exceptional relationships and networks
  • Proficient computer skills:  Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe. Graphic and Video editing skills an asset.
  • Ability to take initiative and lead projects to conclusion
  • Comfortable in dynamic business environment requiring utmost agility.
  • Some travel required.
