Advertisement Key Business Accountabilities.
Provide provincial  leadership for field safety
Coordination of  compliance for stewarded and regulated field trials
Execution of QMS plan
Support preparation and execution of field research program
Support data management and research project summaries
Complete equipment maintenance, inventory listing of capital


Scope of the Job:


Provide provincial leadership for field safety
Connect with ESH/TDA to understand safety expectation and plan to deliver
Communicate with TD field team on safety actions
Lead training, provide clarity of  oversight of required safety behavior and collection of data
Ensure documentation of safety expectations are complete and up to date

Support audit plan with ESH
Active with  injury reporting and communication
Coordination of  compliance for stewarded and regulated field trials


Connect with Stewardship and Regulatory to understand  compliance expectations and develop plan to deliver
Communicate with TD field team on stewardship/compliance actions and tools (CQA)
Ensure monitoring and documentation of stewardship/compliance is complete and up to date and land leases agreements complete
Execution of QMS plan
Provide coordination of  QMS program with local TDR's
Ensure clarity of execution required and document completion of tasks
Support preparation and execution of field research program
Prepare research plot materials including seed
Participant with site planning, plot establishment, data collection and harvest of field trials
Ensure land lease agreements completed 
Support data management and research project summaries
Ensure data system functions locally and support data entry and plot summaries as required
Complete equipment maintenance, inventory listing of capital
Develop and  manage equipment maintenance schedule
Complete listing of all capital equipment at TDR location

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in agricultural science is preferred
  • Knowledgeable about Canadian  agricultural production
  • Has attention for detail and commitment to safety
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Excellent organization, time management and team skills
  • Travel between provincial TDR locations will be required
