Responsibilities:
To develop and manage client relationships by leading and participating in multiple review and compilation engagements within professional guidelines established by the Firm and regulatory bodies, delivering on-site client services, demonstrating value to clients, understanding the clients’ businesses and identifying new opportunities.

Specific responsibilities include:
* prepare working papers and appropriate support for completion of financial statements on review and notice-to-reader files.
* preparation of corporate tax returns and advising on regulatory filings
* compilation of information for personal tax returns
* identifying and proposing solutions to basic tax issues
* follow-up contact with clients and taxation authorities on an as needed basis
* periodic advice to clients regarding general accounting and financial reporting matters including accounting software problem resolution
To qualify for this highly visible position and an excellent opportunity for career advancement, candidates must have:

*minimum of 5 years public accounting experience, including financial statement and corporate tax preparation
*
previous experience working with Caseware/Caseview, Word and Excel is essential, familiarity with TaxPrep and various accounting packages is desirable
*
knowledge of investment holding companies an asset
*
ability to work on multiple engagements
*
excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
*
sound decision-making ability and professional judgment
*
strong problem-solving capabilities
*
works effectively, independently and in a team environment degree in Accounting or related field
