We are looking for a senior marketing professional to join our team as Senior Manager, In-Store Excellence. In this role, you will works strategically within the Marketing Department to drive the Arc’teryx in-store brand experience with the ultimate objective of increasing sell-through, communicating brand articulation and seasonal assortments. North Vancouver, BC. Canada.

Ideally you will have:

  • 7+ years strategic in-store excellence leadership experience operating at senior level, preferably within the outdoor equipment/clothing industry
  • Experience using product merchandising tools
  • International working experience, with understanding of European, North American and Asian consumers and distribution channels
  • Proven communication skills in an international and complex working environment
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Build the 4 year rolling Arc’teryx global in-store marketing strategy and tools to maximize brand value and product sell through for Brand Stores, Partner Stores, SIS and POP
  • Apply a holistic approach to in-store marketing, applying key purchase drivers and creating relevant and measurable programs. Set clear in-store excellence KPI’s for each specific channel: Brand Store, Partner Store, SIS
  • Oversee the planning, design and management of but not limited to: store design, propping tools, fixtures, signage, and window tools
  • Manage global implementation of merchandising principals across retail and wholesale accounts
  • Oversee the planning, design and management of sales launch/trade show experience
  • Constantly increase cost effectiveness of in-store marketing programs
  • Works closely with internal departments and marketing directors to include effective in-store marketing programs into seasonal marketing plans
  • Create and drive seasonal B2C in-store excellence calendar
  • Responsible for in-store excellence budgeting including: fixture and POP inventory, store build out cost targets and regional budget allocation
  • Understand and align with brand equity and brand marketing strategy
  • Cooperate with Commercial teams in order to incorporate assortment planning, product merchandizing and SKU management into the in-store marketing strategy and programs
  • Work closely with B2C marketing team to optimize multi-channel consistency and synergy
  • Present seasonal in-store excellence plan including but not limited to: global budget, strategy, tool kit, and calendar at seasonal meetings
  • Interact with local markets and zone roles to implement the Arc’teryx in-store marketing strategy, merchandising and programs
