Position Description:
We currently have an 6 month contract opening for a Human Resources Representative, located at our Canadian Head Office in Mississauga, Ontario.  Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Human Resources, the incumbent will be responsible for providing Human Resources support and guidance to all levels of management, as well as employees in the field.  As a member of the Human Resources team the Human Resources Representative is tasked effectively administering many facets of Human Resources, including support of corporate strategies across Canada.

This position is responsible for full-cycle recruitment and on-boarding of salaried positions within assigned regions, assisting regional Management with hiring in unionized and non-unionized environments, and providing support in various areas of Human Resources.  The Human Resources Representative will be responsible for data entry and daily correspondence, HRIS administration in PeopleSoft, as well as addressing day-to-day concerns, issues and needs of employees to ensure increased employee commitment, competence and loyalty.  In addition, the Human Resources Representative will have the opportunity to work on various HR projects, and the administration of national programs.
Qualifications:
If you have at least 3-5 years of Human Resources experience, including at least one year of experience with recruitment, this position may be of interest to you.
 We are looking for a motivated individual with a post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field who is CHRP designated, or currently working towards their designation.
 Prior experience PeopleSoft HR or Oracle HRIS is an asset.
 In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have exceptional organizational skills coupled with proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
