We are looking for an individual committed to providing quality customer service to internal and external customers.

Reporting to the Director of Collections, the position plays an integral part in the overall success of MEP. This successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 26 individuals, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of documents; including the distribution of outgoing cheques to a large volume of families dependent on MEP's services.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities, the ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written means and provide support to team members responsible for working in extremely emotional and confidential environments. This position is also responsible for meeting Ministry and Divisional business objectives, streamlining existing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the department while maintaining integrity and compliance with relevant Legislation requirements. The successful candidate will also be required to provide assistance and support to the Executive Director and other Senior Management related to the Department and the execution and compliance of policies and procedures.
   
Qualifications:
A University degree in a related field such as Business Administration or Commerce with at least three years progressive experience in management is required; equivalencies will be considered. Strong business acumen is required due to the high volume, complex legal environment and focus on corporate business strategies. Proven leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of MEP goals and objectives are also required.  
Salary:$2,462.53 - $3,509.23 bi-weekly.
   
Notes:   
This is a 1 year temporary salaried position.
Final candidates for this position will be asked to undergo a Security Screening. This competition may be used to fill future permanent and temporary vacancies
