Within Ernst & Young’s International Tax Services (ITS), our global Transfer Pricing practice is recognized as a leading innovator in addressing inter-company transaction issues and in the valuation of intangible assets. We offer depth of experience through a worldwide network of dedicated transfer pricing economists and tax professionals. Providing a fully integrated approach to transfer pricing, our people prepare documentation, defend transfer pricing in audits, and develop tax planning approaches. We are currently seeking a Senior to participate in various challenging transfer pricing engagements and to contribute to the delivery of quality transfer pricing services for our diverse clients. Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate an understanding of basic transfer pricing concepts and effectively apply economic/finance knowledge to clients.
* Demonstrate an understanding of the financial services industry
* Assist in the delivery of quality transfer pricing and economic services with timely and responsive services/work products.
* Prepare documentation, participate in advanced pricing agreements (APAs), defend transfer pricing in audits, work in the valuation of intangible assets, and develop quality, practical planning services.
* Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals.
* Thoroughly and accurately analyze information.
* Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client’s economic situation and arrive at logical conclusions.
To qualify, candidates must have:
* An advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in economics and/or finance
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles would be an asset
* Knowledge of the financial industry an asset
* strong analytical and verbal/written communication skills
* the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional services environment
* advanced quantitative skills
* strong working knowledge of Excel and Word
* strong interest in economic analysis and financial markets
