Position and Responsibilities Working with the corporate safety, health, environment and quality group, your responsibilities include liaising with BTS (business technology services), on a regular basis with regard to business/quality oriented improvements and revisions to the Cameco Incident Reporting Database (CIRS) and the CIRS Dashboard. You are a self-motivated individual and skilled in the development of new reports and the improvement of existing queries utilizing Crystal Reports.
You will also maintain the issue reporting system and process all software requests, coordinate and participate in testing of modifications, and take action on system performance issues. In support of the corrective action process and the quality management program, this position also provides backup to the quality specialist, performing preliminary data analysis and evaluating data entry. You will participate in trending opportunities, incident investigations, and review internal and external events for operational experience (OPEX).

Education and Qualifications Requirements of the position:
Bachelor’s degree in science, information technology, business or a quality systems related field
Three to five years relevant work experience that includes safety, health, environment and quality aspects
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven critical thinking abilities
Assets:
Experience in the nuclear industry
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001
