Reporting to the Manager of Governance, Communications and Strategic Initiatives, you will contribute to the Challenger Business Unit through effective management of cross functional processes, metrics and relationships. You will be responsible for ensuring that the business unit governance is produced efficiently, with optimal quality, conveying the right message, while being delivered within the appropriate timeframes.
In your role, you will:
- Streamline and improve the performance management and reporting strategies for the Challenger plant
- Be responsible for all the Challenger Business Unit deliverables with regards to the governance requirements from head office
- Prepare and improve regular and ad hoc visibility reports and presentation materials to the management team, which summarize information, measure the progress of the plant, and indicate key concerns and areas of risk
- Offer a high level of service, analysis and strategic thinking to the leadership teams – draw out meaningful conclusions from changes in the performance results from one cycle to the next
- Guide the leadership to conduct problem solving and create concrete action plans to close performance gaps
- Support the strategic planning process from the diagnostic phase to the implementation phase
- Supervise a team of governance analysts
Qualifications:
As our ideal candidate,
- You hold a University undergraduate degree (Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent), MBA (an asset)
- You have five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant work experience
- You have experience in planning and coordinating
- You are able to multi-task and prioritize
- You possess excellent analytical skills
- You have a very high level of attention to detail as well as rigour in processing information to provide accurate reporting
- You have experience in building project frameworks and optimizing processes
- You are proactive and results-driven, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- You have strong stakeholder management skills and are able to develop strong interpersonal relationships
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
- You possess excellent skill levels in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Experience in personnel management is an asset
