NeXsys Group Incorporated specializes in the research, design and implementation of next generation Business Process Management System (BPMS) software, providing real-time strategic reports on company performance against identified objectives and process-related indicators. As part of our continuing growth in the international quality assurance marketplace, NeXsys is recruiting a skilled and enthusiastic Java Developer on a part-time contract basis. The selected candidate will be accountable for developing and maintaining key modules of the NeXsys platform, and must therefore be proficient in Java and J2EE programming, as well as additional tools and technologies identified below.

Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops and modifies modules based on functional and system requirements
- Works closely with management team on developing and refining functional and system requirements
- Participates in the testing process through creating and developing test plans, test cases, execution of tests, bug fixes, etc. Must have a good understanding of software testing protocols and use of automated testing tools.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Extremely strong Java development skills
- Proficient with object-oriented methodology and design patterns
- Three years coding experience in J2EE software development (EJB, JDBC, Hibernate)
- Three coding experience in web-based software development (JSP, XML, XML Parsing, Servlet, Struts)
- Two years professional programming experience in a Windows Server 200x client server environment

Nice-to-Haves:
- Adobe Flex and other RIA Frameworks
- HTML5 and JavaScript
- Exposure to BPMN
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Eclipse IDE
- Bilingualism
