Our exciting opportunity:

G-Mac’s AgTeam is seeking a driven team-orientated individual for the role of Location Manager at our Rosetown Retail Location.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Location Manager is responsible for the operations, and retail staff. This role participates in sales and marketing, financial planning and forecasting. This full-time position includes an attractive compensation package consisting of base salary, performance incentives, vehicle allowance, registered-savings plan, training opportunities, and other benefits.

The Location Manager will:

    Ensure customer service is always a priority and exceeds our customers’ expectations.
    Develop relationships with clients and location team to provide accurate forecasts.
    Oversee day-to-day operations of the location.
    Manage inventory levels of all product lines.
    Lead and engage location staff while ensuring safety is a top priority.

Requirements:

    A passion for agriculture, and desire to increase our clients’ production and profitability levels.
    A minimum of 3 years experience in the Agriculture industry.
    Degree or Diploma in Agriculture is preferred.
    An understanding of agronomic practices. A P. Ag. or CCA is an asset.
    Strong time-management and communication skills.
    Experience in leadership by example and motivating others to succeed.
    Proven ability to lead a team.
    Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and available to work extended hours during the busy season.
    Proficient computer skills. Experience with Tronia, is an asset.
