TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST – ADF MILKING

Consistent with our mandate to offer the best milking solutions, Norwell has an immediate, full-time, permanent position in Alberta (home office based) for a Technical Sales Specialist to promote, sell and support the ADF Milking product line.  ADF is the multi – award winning Automatic Dipping and Flushing system that helps farmers improve the health of their dairy herd while saving time and increasing the efficiency of their milking parlour.

Responsibilities include:

    Working with management team to formulate a sales strategy for the ADF Milking technology
    Translating that strategy to meet both direct-to-farm and dealer sales targets
    Consultative sales approach including the assessment of client’s needs and designing tailored solutions when required
    Provide sales, installation and support training to Dealer representatives
    Act as escalation point to assist in troubleshooting technical issues
    Establish and be accountable for an end-to-end sales process (lead generation to close)
    Forecasting and budgeting
    Attending & supporting farm shows, open houses & applicable industry related meetings or events

Requirements include:

·        Minimum 10 years extensive experience and technical knowledge of advanced milking equipment

·        College degree in a dairy farming engineering program or related discipline

·        Knowledge of Bovine mastitis and prevention

·        Comprehensive understanding of milking-specific cow health practices

·        Previous experience with the ADF Milking Systems would be an asset

·        Excellent written and verbal communication

·        Good organizational and planning skills

·        Extensive travel required within British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan & Ontario

·        Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office

Remuneration will include a competitive base salary of $53,760 plus up to $26,240 in commission. Benefits include travel expenses, dental benefits, disability benefits, life insurance benefits, medical benefits and RRSP benefits.
