Job Description
We are looking for a Sr IT Analysts - Technical Support supporting the Reconciliations systems for a 13 month contract. Interviews will take place as soon as qualified candidates have been shortlisted. Please note this candidate will be provided a pager.
Interviews will take place late next week and the following week. Target start date is August 1st or earlier, pending on when onboarding is completed. Excellent communication skills along with strong analytical skills and technical skills combined with banking experience is the ideal. This individual would have business analysis experience to be able to analyze issues and come up with a solution as well as the ability to explain what the issues are and be able to distinguish between an incident vs change request.

The candidate would be called RCM support and would review file feeds (transactions received) from other financial institutions and TD and ensure the feed is loaded properly; otherwise, this individual would need to investigate further and ensure file feeds are completed. The candidate would also need to follow-up if there are any alerts that the source may not have received or if there are any loading errors. Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task are critical to this role. The individual would be dealing with end users, Reconciliation team, and users who would need access to the system
.
The individual would be a technical support and respond to emails and phone calls and who would need to be proactive to know where to look - ie., current or archive files. Needs to have experience with Explorer, IBM Host and desktop support. The individual would be working also be rotated every two to three weeks to carry a pager and respond to after-hours or weekend questions and follow-up on issues.
There will be a pager pay of $14/shift. For example, for the weekend, they would be paid $14x3 shifts x 2 for Sat and Sun shifts. If they respond and work offsite a min of 2 hours, they would be paid regular pay. Total hours for pager pay is a straight time with a minimum of two hours.
This candidate would also be required to understand new business requirements, conduct business analysis. They must have knowledge of products and systems process in order to define and document business systems requirements for business unit. Ensure systems deliverables are met. Provide consultation as required through project life cycle. Collaborate and manage relationships with business leaders, IT groups and vendors to ensure issues are communicated clearly and accurately.
This individual will take a leadership role in working with and liaising with business partners to provide research, analysis and documentation of business process improvement opportunities and business requirements.
- Effective identify, define and document detailed business and system requirements with the involvement of business subject matter experts utilizing the system development life cycle (SDLC) methodology.
- Translate requirements into functional specification, including process flow and data model documents
- Integrate technical solutions with the business environment, recognizing systems interdependencies, reusability and ensuring seamless delivery.
- Assist with the prioritization of initial feature development and ongoing change requests.
- Assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance and user acceptance testing.
- Serve as a resource for the Business Readiness team during evaluation of training and performance support needs and the design of the training and performance support products
