Job Description
TEKsystems ERP Support Services is currently seeking a Reporting/Integration Lead for a 12 month renewable contract in Mississauga, Ontario. The business challenge that the client is facing is that the client has nearly tripled in size over the past 3 years due to global expansion. Reporting mechanisms internally are slow and inaccurate as most countries are on independent platforms. This does not allow them to react to changing financial conditions and creates the need for a large amount of manual intervention. A common, well supported ERP and Reporting platform will allow the client to make more well informed business decisions on a global basis. This will help them minimize risk and maximize business opportunities.

- Strong project experience
- Process oriented with a reasonable understanding of ERP systems
- Experience managing a team comprised on fulltime, contractors and vendor resources in various countries simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience managing:
 Resources in a reporting and conversion streams for a regional, national or global project.
 Resources comprised of fulltime, contractors and vendor resources in various countries simultaneously.
 The full life cycle for reports, developed in Crystal and SSRS, from requirements to end-user testing
 The full life cycle for data conversion from mapping to final conversion with financial databases from multiple systems to a single global database, as well as manual conversions
 Integrations requirements and development an asset
- Ability to

•  Manage deliverables in two regions in a coordinated fashion simultaneously
•  Plan and manage to the plan the delivery of reports, data conversions and potentially integrations to meet the overall timelines
•  Work flexible hours

Overall Scope of Activities:

• - All global implementations – Asia, Australasia, Europe and South America
• - Lead data conversion/migration
• - Lead Report requirements definition, development and testing
• - Oversee assigned resources, including vendor as appropriate
• - Work collaboratively with regional application/IT resources and vendors as needed

Activities:

• - Support the development of a standard global reporting package as the basis for reports.
• - Drive the definition, design, development and testing of custom reporting requirements utilizing a structure methodology as agreed on with each region/or phase within a region.
• - Contribute information on the impact for organizational change in the enterprise
• ¿ Ensuring that the training lead is aware of new functionality and support the creation of end user training materials for the reports.
• - Ensure the production of high-quality documentation relating to the data conversion, reports and modifications to enable ease of transition to support and ongoing operations and training

Testing/Validation:

• - Defining the scope of testing/validation – in conjunction with the Configuration Lead
• - Responsible for ensuring the Testing Design (Test case/ Test Data generation), Defect tracking, Reporting and Reviews of Test Execution related to data migration, reporting ; integrations if possible.
• - Supporting the testing effort for each regional group
•  Working with regional/country resources to fully test the functionality of the system
•  Working collaboratively with the IT team to test the performance of the system
• - Documenting and resolving issues arising during the testing phase with other leads and BST as appropriate

Data Conversion/Migration

• - Oversee modifications to the standard data conversion process as needed for each specific each specific implementation (multiple phases per region). Define process of data conversion and document conversion approach, including the roles of the vendor and the regional resources
• - Overseeing conversion activities, actively working, guiding, focusing, and unifying a diverse team of conversion analysts, regional resources and/or vendors.
• - Provide both leadership and hands-on knowledge of the tools and processes to successfully convert country data based on the global and local standardization requirements

- Oversee the execution of:

•  Designing and executing conversion programs
• Analyzing errors for defects
•  Reporting load and runtime statistics
•  Providing functional expertise to complete data migration.
•  Conducting walkthroughs of Data Maps delivered by conversion vendor and report any defects associated with it.
  - Support the conference room pilots
•  Address recurring problems with the quality of data and reports.

General:

• - Support the design and delivery of end-user training and training materials; providing technical support as necessary.
• - Work with Global/regional IT to ensure the performance of the tools and remediate any issues arising

Skill Set:

• - 5 years of people management in a team lead role
• - Demonstrated experience delivering a reporting/data conversion stream in a similar project
• - Complementary technical skills – example – SQL, SSRS & Crystal
• - Strong written and verbal communication skills
• - Project mentality and experience
• - Able to work global hours and travel globally
• - Adaptable

Job Requirements
    Strong project leadership experience on large, Multi-site, enterprise wide ERP or Financial Reporting applications, Stakeholder Management/Communication skills., Valid Canadian Passport and the ability to travel globally, about 25% travel.
