This position is within Accenture's Services workforce. This is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. Profile / Role Description:
Serve as a Wave Manager on the project’s Migration Execution workstream. In this role candidate manage the detailed planning and execution of approximately one quarter of the migrations to the bank’s new data centre facility. This responsibility will include reviewing and validating migrations approaches, overseeing the procurement and placement of hardware assets, managing the resourcing, issues and risks related the migrating servers and applications, managing pre-migration, migration and post migration activities, managing technical and project issues, coordinating migration logistics, and communicating detailed status to technical and business stakeholders.

Candidate needs to have significant experience in technology infrastructure projects including previous experience with data centre migration and consolidation.This experience includes gathering requirements, planning implementations and migrations, driving execution of those plans, developing technical approaches, and managing resources, issues and risks related to those migrations.Also has to have a range of broad technical experience in servers, storage, networking, monitoring and remote management which is required for the role.
