Description:
The FINTRAC application is a regulatory reporting system for cross border wire transfers running on a web front end and an Oracle database. In this role, the individual would:
•Design, code and implement web-based application components for FINTRAC Reporting system using multiple programming and scripting languages.
•Participate in the end-to-end on project delivery by following the SDLC – requirement clarification, analysis, design, code, test, UAT support and implementation, according to internal standards and policies.
•Work with Database Administrators, Software and Systems Engineers, technologists from our partner systems and existing team to refine the application design requirements based on the business needs. Adhere to prevalent Change Management policies and processes.
•Provide production support by resolving job failures and responding to customer queries. Requires carry a blackberry for overnight support

Qualifications
 Must Have:
•5+ years working experience with the following: Java, Javascript, JSP, JSF, JQuery, JavaMail and HTML
•5+ years working and experience with frameworks such as: struts, hibernate, spring, JUnit and Jface
•In-depth knowledge of application server such as BEA WebLogic. Current with emerging technologies and methodologies
•3 + years working experience with PL/SQL programming in Oracle 11, and writing UNIX shell scripts for batch
•Proven track record for delivering code within original effort and schedule estimates •Excellent communication skills Nice to Have
•Have used Autosys application
•Familiar with SVN configuration tool
•Knowledge of SWIFT MT103 format
