•     Work closely with the CEO, your colleagues and volunteers to establish strong credibility and strengthen the Royal’s presence and relevance within the Canadian Agricultural community.
•     Lead the team to deliver competitions, entertainment and educational features that connect farming, food and family to grow core and new markets
•     Create and execute a communication strategy to grow the calibre of and participation in competitions and increase recognition for RAWF Champions within the marketplace
•     Stay current with food trends and integrate Royal Champions into more of the food experiences at the Fair
•     Manage ongoing and new relationships within the Canadian agricultural and food community as well as government departments to help ensure long term financial stability and increased revenues through sponsorships, partnerships and grants

Experience:
    University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in business or agriculture
    10+ years’experience in agriculture, preferably to include food, events marketing or communications
    Experience with delivery of programming to an audience, preferably in a major fair or event setting
    Leadership experience preferably in public and private sector to secure funding
    Flexible work arrangements to be visible and accessible in the agriculture community
