CHS Canada has an exciting opportunity in our Grain Marketing division. We are looking for a Grain Merchandiser in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This opportunity will add value for our producers/owners, customers, and key stakeholders by providing an effective link to grain markets worldwide.  You must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and have proven Risk Management & Trading capability.

You will:
Have a solid agricultural background with trading experience and know current and possible future policies, practices, trends and information affecting CHS’ grain marketing operation
Be able to make decisions and work independently as well as positively contributing to a team environment
Be accountable for individual profit center for CHS Canada.
Form and execute strategies for positioning, buying and selling grain.
Provide exceptional customer service by being the first point of contact with the suppliers & consumers and in some cases utilizing divisional marketing resources.
Resolve issues and disputes with accounting, transportation, shippers and buyers. A working knowledge of NGFA contracts.
Identify & develop customer base to create opportunities.
Develop a budget and forecast.
Perform market analysis and formulation of corresponding commodity position strategy
Facilitate & support CHS U.S. trading desks on rail trading opportunities.
4-year Ag Business, Ag Economics, or other Business degree.
1-3 years Grain Merchandising experience.
