Job Posting Summary:
Reporting to the HR Services Manager, this position is responsible for the provision of human resources
support to the Region, including administrative support for the HR group, processing pay items,
organizational charts, and coordinating service awards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide human resources support including compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, training and development and relocation support Assist with recruitment efforts to meet staffing requirements at all levels
• Standards, Human Rights, and related legislation
• Advise and counsel management in the areas of Company policy, provincial Employment
• Coordinate and administer salaried transactional matters with the Employee Services
• Maintain the HR section of the Company Intranet site
• Various administrative duties including filing, vacation tracking, and payables

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with a Human Resources focus or equivalent post-secondary in combination with HR work experience
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within all organizational levels
• Knowledge of provincial labour and employment statutes 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
• Proficiency with a HRIS environment, preferably JDE and SAP
• Experience in a manufacturing or construction materials environment is an asset
