Cargill Grain and Oilseeds Supply Chain's 4,500 tonne per day canola processing plant in Clavet, SK is the largest softseed plant in North America. Saskatchewan accounts for 45 percent of Canadian canola production.
The processing facility produces canola oil and specialty canola oils as well as canola meal for the domestic North American and world markets. Canola oil is healthy vegetable oil used in salad oil, frying and processed food applications. Canola meal is a high protein feed product used by the livestock industry.
Cargill Grain and Oilseeds Supply Chain North America (GOSCNA) is looking for a Customer Service Administrator to work with the various support groups related to the goal achieving canola crushing objectives.
This is a 6 month term position. After the term is complete you could be considered for other positions within Cargill.
Principal Accountabilities:
50% - Canola Origination Support
Administrative duties including contract management, customer support, answering and servicing customer calls and walk-ins, communication of settlement details to teammates and providing administrative support for grower communication
Assist originators in buying canola and follow up on accounts receivable
Customer communication updates
Input of seed futures daily
Other administrative duties as required
30% - Logistics Support
Maintain driver orientation records
Maintenance of carrier contracts and database, monthly WCB compliance and verifications
Responsible for booking unloads with self-delivery drivers
Responsible for maintaining weekly wait-time reports
Other administrative duties as required
20% - Accounting Support
Reconcile and data entry for production
Responsible for maintaining inventory records
Other administrative duties as required
Skills:
Required:
- High School degree or GED equivalent
- Intermediate level or above using Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent time management skills to balance walk up business with daily workload
- 1+ year office and/or customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong applied math skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Very self-motivated
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Completion of a business certificate or degree
- Knowledge of the Agriculture industry
- Merchandising Experience
