We are presently recruiting for a contract Research Associate based in the Markham head office reporting into the Manager, Medical Research. This is 6-month contract position.
This position is responsible for the planning, management and execution of day to day clinical operations related to various Medical Affairs Research projects, ensuring they meet specific medical, scientific, regulatory and corporate requirements, including Health Canada, ICH GCP guidelines and regulations, as applicable. The Research Associate will also be responsible for ensuring projects are executed to achieve planned timelines, budgets and deliverables and will be actively involved in the publication of Allergan sponsored research projects in phase IIIB/IV. Assists in the support of thought leaders with respect to Medical Affairs projects, clinical research activities and publication deliverables for in line and close to market products. You will be required to work closely with other Allergan personnel to ensure information needs from healthcare professionals are addressed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a BSc or MSc with a focus in the life science and have 2-3 years related experience in clinical research. Professional accreditation and knowledge of ICH GCP, Neurology and Ophthalmology would be an asset. In addition, the candidate must be a self-starter, possessing excellent time management, multi tasking, and communication skills, both oral and written.
