Job Description:
Frost & Sullivan seeks to hire a dynamic and experienced Market Research Analyst to join the Customer Research team. The Customer Research team conducts quantitative and qualitative research across various industries—primarily those verticals that Frost & Sullivan is renowned for its expertise: Aerospace & Defense, Automotive & Transportation, Business & Financial Services, Chemicals, Materials & Food, Electronics & Security, Energy & Power Systems, Environment & Building Technologies, Healthcare, Industrial Automation & Process Control, Information & Communication Technologies, and Measurement & Instrumentation.
The Market Research Analyst will be responsible for the quality and timeliness of Customer Research projects, including survey design, project execution and careful project management and, accurate and strategic reporting of results. The Market Research Analyst will work in collaboration with Research Directors and the Research Senior Vice President.

Primary Responsibilities:
    Develop, design, and manage surveys.
    Interact with Frost & Sullivan’s Customer Research Operations team to implement field research projects.
    Manage research projects from start to finish, interacting with clients, sales/account management and field research.
    Monitor data quality and integrity; implement and champion quality control programs where necessary; ensure high quality deliverables are met in a timely manner.
    Analyze survey data to identify key trends and insights; provide recommendations and implications within the context of the client’s research/business objectives and their competitive environment.
    Develop reports for clients; present reports (as may be required) and field questions.
    Assist with preparation of research proposals including methodology options, timelines, deliverables, and appropriate pricing.
    Participate in project kick-off calls with clients to explain methodology and answer questions regarding chosen methodology and deliverables.

Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements:

  •     Bachelor’s degree.
  •     5+ years in a market research role.
  •     Experience in quantitative survey work.
  •     Strong analytical and writing skills.
  •     Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  •     Ability to multi-task several projects at once and prioritize deadlines.
  •     High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (e.g. experience with pivot tables, designing tables, building complex charts/graphs).
  •     Experience with statistical analysis tools such as SPSS.
  •     Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  •     Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate to various levels of management to clarify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
  •     Continually seeks opportunities to increase process/system efficiencies, customer satisfaction and overall business improvement.
  •     Ability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies, and environments.

Optional (but would be a plus):
  •     Experience with cross-tabulation software.
  •     Experience with automated charting software such as Rosetta.
  •     Strong understanding and interpretation of advanced multivariate analytical techniques
  •     Experience with MaxDiff or conjoint analysis
  •     Experience in market segmentation projects
  •     Experience in using Sawtooth software
  •     Experience working with international companies and partnering with international marketing teams.
  •     Research experience in the automotive, information & communication technologies or healthcare sectors.
