Global leader in livestock nutrition seeks Dairy Nutritionist for technical support,training, ration formulation and to liaison with HQ for research and new products/best practices.
In this role you will
Mentor sales team on farm management practices, records analysis, cow comfort, ration balancing, etc.
Provide instruction to the sales staff from corporate training programs – (6 modules)
Teach technical skills
Provide on-farm assistance, trouble-shooting producer issues
Review corporate and industry research, relaying information to the sales team
Assist sales staff in on-farm presentations/walk-throughs
To be considered for this job you must possess
An in-depth understanding of dairy nutrition
BS or MS degree in dairy science, animal science or ruminant nutrition
Practical experience working on a family or commercial dairy farm OR exp as a Dairy Nutritionist
Highly developed follow-up skills
Self-motivation, self-direction and the ability to work well on a team
Excellent verbal communication skills, above average written skills
A friendly smile and a desire to teach/coach
