JOB OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible to manage the activities related to each outage during pre and post stages. The Coordinator will also ensure equipment availability and partner with Maintenance Support Services to ensure that required resources are available for each outage.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Liaison with Operations to meet the schedule for break-in work, assist planning with the preparation of work packages and support Supervision on the availability of tools, services and material to ensure all jobs are executed per plan
- Establish relationships with Front Line Supervisors, Area Supervisors, Planners and Schedulers to mitigate delays and solve problems
- Assist supervision in setting up productivity standards and evaluate crews on their performance
- Report and document work completion and maintenance histories
- Work with other coordinators/supervisors to address efficient use of services and equipment
- Manage equipment core returns
- Provide adequate controls for approval and stewardship of work risk and costs
- Work with Operations to provide a safe, secure, isolated and protected area for maintenance work
- Establish a safe work environment by leading by example to promote a zero incident culture
- Conduct regular workplace observations and Field Level Risk Assessment audits to ensure work is performed safely and according to plan, schedule and procedure
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:
Journeyperson ticket with 5-10 years of related maintenance experience in an oil and gas industry
Experience coordinating groups of multidiscipline personnel and physical resources in an oil and gas industry
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of maintenance strategies and methodologies
- Knowledge of applicable OH&S rules, regulations and guidelines
- Knowledge of planning and scheduling processes
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance requirements
- Continuous Improvement processes
- Ability to lead with courage, integrity and respect
- Computer proficiency specifically in MS Office and SAP
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to work in team environment
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Relocation to Fort McMurray is required
