JOB OVERVIEW:
The temporary film student will be responsible for creating videos for the retail conference Suncor hosts every November

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Take storyboards and/or ideas we provide and asses viability to be filmed
Film people at our sites and in our offices
Complete editing on the films including: sound effects and subtitles to film and special effects to enhance drama

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

Completion of second or third year of film school is preferred

Skills and Knowledge:

Solid understanding of filming and editing principles including: lighting, sound, subtitling, sound effects, voice-overs
Creative individual
Bilingual in French and English is an asset

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• A portfolio will be required upon interview
• A personal car is required for travel from site to site
• Some air travel across Canada is required
• Successful candidate is required to use their own laptop and editing software
• This is a temporary position, lasting from September 2013 – December 2013
• Other business related tasks may be assigned unrelated to video creation depending on work load
