Responsibilities:
To develop and manage client relationships by leading and participating in multiple review and compilation engagements, within professional guidelines established by the Firm and regulatory bodies. Delivering on-site clients services; demonstrating value to clients; understanding the clients’ businesses; and identifying new opportunities.

Specific responsibilities:
* Preparation of working papers and appropriate supporting documents for completion of financial statements.
* Preparation of corporate tax returns, including advising on regulatory filings
* Compilation of information for personal tax returns
* Identification, resolution, and (internal and external) discussion of basic tax issues
* Frequent, proactive communication with clients and taxation authorities
* Periodic advice to clients, regarding general accounting and financial reporting matters, including accounting software problem resolutions.

To qualify for this challenging and rewarding position, candidates must have:
* Extensive bookkeeping experience
* Minimum 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience, including financial statement and corporate tax return preparation
* Familiarity with Caseware, Word, Excel, and TaxPrep
* Ability to work on multiple engagements concurrently
* Strong problem-solving capabilities
* Professional judgement and sound decision-making abilities
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to works effectively, independently, and in a team environment
* While not essential, the following knowledge is beneficial:
* Familiarity with various accounting packages
* Knowledge of investment holding companies
